Valentine Dinner at A Spanish-American Fusion Restaurant

Valentine Dinner at A Spanish-American Fusion Restaurant

Happy Valentine's day everyone! Let me start off by saying that I love my neighborhood (Queens) so much because of all the different kind of food they have. Thanks to my wonderful fiancé, we celebrated our 10th Valentine's day at this Spanish-American fusion restaurant called NOVO in Jackson Heights. Novo is a cute lounge restaurant with great Latin music. We start off by ordering their peach mojito and some crab-cakes as appetizer. We thought the crab-cakes were pretty good, loved the fried on the outside and soft in the inside. We also ordered two entrees after the appetizer – The seafood with rice for him and broiled tilapia fillet for myself. The Latin music with delicious food totally wrapped up our romantic night. If you are in the neighborhood, stop by this place for a mojito or even a delicious crab-cakes.

I know I really think Queens is a hidden gem of all sorta of food. I find a really up scale Dominican restaurant by Corona and it's not even in the city.

I ordered the tilapia, and it was so much I had to bring it to lunch the next day. It still taste good though. I tried to curl my hair a bit just for the special day, so I asked him to take a picture of me. hee hee

Ken - next time when you see the tweet says food, make sure you just eat. I just learned anew trick on food photos. I'm going to use a detachable Flash to see if the lighting can changed..

I’m with Ken. I nearly died looking at the photos (haven’t eaten in hours) and I REALLY want that mojito.
